About the Role
The Millwright is a critical member of our maintenance team, responsible for ensuring maximum equipment uptime in a manufacturing or production environment. By implementing effective preventative maintenance, rapid breakdown response, and efficient changeovers, you will play a key role in maintaining strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and complete tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor
- Obtain and follow correct process instructions for all assigned jobs
- Ensure machine set-ups and line changes are completed with minimal production interruption and optimized changeover times
- Undertake safe and efficient installation of new mechanical and electrical equipment, plant, and machinery
- Promptly attend to breakdowns and stoppages caused by mechanical or electrical faults
- Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on all plant equipment as directed
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including function and control systems
- Troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems (basic coding advantageous)
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safe working practices at all times
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation
Requirements
- Minimum Qualification: Electrical / Millwright / Mechatronics Certified Millwright with a completed Trade Test
- 5 years of relevant industrial or manufacturing experience
