Employer Description Our client is a contracting company specializing in industrial automation solutions and robotics. Job Description Promote and sell aluminium profiles, fasteners, linear components , and accessories from the company catalogue. Research and identify new customers in manufacturing, automation, packaging, materials handling, and engineering sectors. Conduct outbound calls, respond to inbound enquiries, and support walk-in clients. Maintain and update customer information on CRM systems. Prepare and deliver quick, accurate, catalogue-based quotations. Follow up consistently to convert leads into sales. Assist senior sales team with upselling and cross-selling opportunities. Develop strong foundational knowledge of T-slot systems, accessories, linear motion elements, and assembly options. Provide basic technical advice to customers (training provided). Interpret customer sketches, basic dimensions, or application needs to recommend suitable components. Work closely with the engineering/design department on custom assemblies, cutting lists, and BOM preparation. Qualifications Matric (Required). Technical qualification preferred: Electrical / Mechanical Engineering N6, Diploma, or related field. Skills 12 years in sales, customer service, internal sales or technical support. Experience working with engineering components, CNC shops, automation suppliers, or industrial distributors is a strong advantage.
