About the Role
As a Network Cabling Installer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining the essential infrastructure for data, voice, and video connectivity in Johannesburg. You will work on various network systems, including LAN/WAN, and be responsible for ensuring reliable connectivity for homes and businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Pulling and routing copper (Ethernet) and fiber optic cables
- Installing trays and terminating connections
- Diagnosing and fixing network faults, performance issues, and connectivity problems
- Setting up and commissioning network equipment like routers, switches, and modems
- Performing routine checks, repairs, and upgrades to existing cable infrastructure
- Ensuring neat and efficient cable pathways and organization
