Job Summary
Key
Responsibilities:
- Daily monitoring, investigation, and response to security events and alerts.
- Assist operations with creating firewall rules and managing user access.
- Operate and maintain anti-malware solutions across the environment.
- Complete daily security controls in line with the ISO 27001 standard.
- Analyse and complete risk assessments while collaborating with the team to address vulnerabilities.
- Conduct penetration testing and assessments on new and existing systems to ensure optimal security across the environment.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of key security technologies such as Active Directory, Anti-Virus, Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, Intrusion Protection Systems, SIEM technologies, Office 365, and Azure.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, tools, techniques, and methods.
- Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and secure application development practices.
- Experience in threat and risk-related assessments.
- Knowledge of cloud computing systems and services.
- Understanding of Microsoft operating systems, technologies, and cloud services.
Desirable Skills:
- Practical experience with Firewalls, SIEM/SOC.
- Ability to demonstrate real-world skills in vulnerability remediation.
- Strong networking knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in application security, software development, or IT security.
