About the Role
Network Finance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Manager to join their team in Johannesburg North. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, carrying out, overseeing, and coordinating all group financial operations, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide the entire range of financial obligations to improve the group’s financial well-being.
- Examine and analyse monthly management accounts, making recommendations for additional actions.
- Assure adherence to regulatory requirements, accounting rules, and offering technical assistance to the Cluster’s finance heads.
- Examining operations to find areas for improvement, cutting costs, and improving systems.
- Assist with strategic analysis and planning, as well as conduct assessments and evaluations for possibilities to reduce costs.
- Examine and approve journals.
- In charge of evaluating and putting internal controls in place.
- Examine and evaluate the provisions and monitor the things that need to be reconciled.
- Oversee treasury operations and banking profiles.
- Manage the implementation of any applicable IFRS and provide yearly financial statements and tax computations.
- In charge of gathering and combining budget templates.
Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant
- A minimum of 5 years post articles experience in Finance Management, Group Accountant, or a similar role
