About the Role
The Working Earth is seeking an experienced Operations Executive to join our team in Johannesburg North. As a key member of our operations division, you will be responsible for managing the execution and development of strategies within the division, cost control, and ensuring compliance to SLAs and KPIs across contracts. With a strong business development background and experience in Functional Outsourcing, warehousing solutions, and Total Employee Solutions (TES), we are looking for a strategic leader who can drive profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the execution and development of strategies within the division, and cost control
- Accountability for the divisional financial performance including budget planning, profitability
- Ensure compliance to SLAs and KPIs across contracts
- Ensure compliance to BCEA, LRA, OHSA and company policies
- Partner with HR on talent management and workforce planning
- Lead and mentor regional and site managers across TES and Functional Outsourcing
- Act as the point of contact between operations and other divisions such as sales, HR, Finance, Compliance
- Use data analytics to monitor trends and improve operations
- Prepare reports on operational and financial indicators
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or operations management
- Minimum of 10 years experience in operational management with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
- Solid experience in Functional Outsourcing, warehousing solutions, and TES
- Must be very strategic and have proven knowledge of budgeting and managing profitability
- Must come from a strong business development background
- Understanding of blue collar employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or operations management
