Our client is a wellestablished player in the engineering and pumping solutions space, supplying specialised equipment across industrial, water, mining, and commercial sectors. Based in Gauteng, the role offers strong earning potential and career growth within a supportive and technically focused environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounts, identifying new revenue opportunities, conducting site visits, and providing technically suitable pump solutions to meet customer requirements.
Education:
- Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (advantageous)
- Sales or commercial qualification (beneficial but not essential)
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in pump sales or technical equipment sales
- Solid understanding of pump applications and systems
- Experience selling into industrial, municipal, mining, or commercial environments
- Strong client engagement, negotiation, and closing skills
- Ability to interpret technical specifications and recommend suitable solutions
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings
- Valid driver’s licence
