About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team in Cape Town. As a Tender & Contracts Sales Executive, you will be responsible for promoting and specifying company products into housing and commercial developments, while maintaining relationships with architects and electrical consultant engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Sales Director
- Promoting and specifying company products into housing and commercial Developments
- Working alongside Engineers
- Listing prospective new developments, allocating developments to the respective Sales Representatives to attend to as well as removing completed won or lost projects
- Maintaining relationships with architects and electrical consultant engineers
- Providing training to the above-mentioned parties on a regular basis
- Adding and updating architect and electrical engineers’ details on the company’s CRM platform
- Completing daily call reports in the company’s CRM platform
- Assisting Sales Representatives at product shows at wholesalers when needed
- Assisting in the employer’s quarterly stock takes; or at any given time at the employer’s discretion as may be directed from time to time
Requirements
- Matric
- Experience within the Construction, Warehouse and Retail industry
- Valid drivers license and own vehicle
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
- Initiative and deadline driven with excellent planning and organisational skills
- Successfully adapts to changing demands and conditions
- High attention to detail, enthusiastic
- Committed and reliable
Salary & Benefits
Basic plus commission – including car allowance. Company benefits offered.
