Key Responsibilities:

– Lead advisory relationships across pension funds, insurers, and institutional clients.
– Develop and implement tailored investment strategies aligned with client objectives.
– Present market insights, performance results, and recommendations at board and committee meetings.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education – minimum requirement

– Honours Degree in Actuarial Science, Investment Management, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Experience – length and type

– 5–10 years of experience in investment consulting or institutional asset management.
– Strong experience in manager selection, strategy formulation, and portfolio advisory.
– Exposure to ALM, investment modelling, or risk frameworks advantageous.

Skills – technical & systems

– Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
– Working knowledge of Python, R, or Power BI (advantageous).
– Strong analytical and quantitative ability.
– Understanding of Regulation 28, SAM, and other investment governance frameworks.
– Experience with performance measurement, portfolio construction, or ESG integration is beneficial.
