About the Role
The Group has a vacancy for an experienced, professional and dedicated Occupational Health Care Nurse to join the team at the Elandsfontein branch in Rustivia, Germiston. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Human Capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the administrative and operational activities of the primary health care and occupational health care clinic to ensure a quality, legally compliant, efficient, and effective service delivery
- Conduct and review health risk assessments annually or as required
- Perform and monitor medical and biological surveillance within the prescribed Company protocols
- Maintain and assist with the management of the Company chronic disease program
- Maintain statutory and internal company procedures and programs
- Keep record of all activities conducted
- File and maintain legally required documents (soft and hard copies)
- Oversee and assist with maintenance of the clinic equipment
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Compile necessary clinic management reports
- Planning and administration of the Occupational Health Service
Requirements
- 80% Occupational healthcare and 20% Primary healthcare experience
- Nursing Diploma/Degree
- Occupational Health Nurse qualification recognised by South African Medical Council (South African Nursing council)
- PHC qualification/experience
- Spirometry, Audiometry and Visual screening (certified qualification should be a must)
- HIV/AIDS certificate
- Registration with SANC/SASOHN
- 3 – 5 years relevant work experience
- Knowledge of drivers medical
- Experience in the treatment of Injuries on Duty
- Dispensing license
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Valid Drivers license and own reliable transport
