About the Role
Join our client, a well-established manufacturing business, as a Mechanical Engineering Trainee where you’ll turn theory into real-world experience. You’ll work alongside experienced artisans and engineers to support plant operations and equipment reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with mechanical maintenance and routine equipment servicing
- Support preventative maintenance programmes to ensure optimal plant performance
- Participate in mechanical fault finding and repair processes
- Work closely with artisans and engineering teams on site
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Requirements
- Completed S4 in Mechanical Engineering (National Diploma)
- Requires P2 experiential training to graduate
- Strong academic results
- Solid understanding of mechanical principles
- Eagerness to learn in a practical, plant-based environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
