PERMIT ADMINISTRATOR
Are you detail-oriented, organised, and passionate about the renewable energy sector? Stage Zero is looking for a Permit Administrator to join our dynamic Planning team. In this pivotal role, youll ensure our installations are fully compliant with utility regulations by managing all permit-related processes with precision and professionalism.
POSITION LOCATION:
- Johannesburg (In Office)
QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED:
- Grade 12
- Relevant diploma in business administration, electrical engineering, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- 5 years experience in utility application processes.
- 5 years experience in a planning or renewable energy environment.
- 2 years working experience with GIS platforms.
- Experience with GIS tools (e.g., Google Earth, Municipal Mapviewer).
- Ability to read technical drawings (electrical SLDs, site plans).
- Familiarity with municipal online submission platforms.

NECESSARY EXPERIENCE & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE:
- Prepare and submit accurate utility application packs for Stage Zero products.
- Track and manage applications from submission to approval across various platforms.
- Engage with utility providers and build strong, professional relationships.
- Interpret and apply utility policies and procedures to maintain compliance.
- Monitor changes to utility regulations and alert the team accordingly.
- Deliver results independently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
