Johannesburg: Product Specifier

Minimum requirements: Matric 3 Years experience in a similar role National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field Solid understanding of electrical distribution systems, switchgear, lighting, and energy efficiency products Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, technical specifications, and tender documents Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong relationship-building and client-facing abilities Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with design/specification software is advantageous. Self-motivated, with the ability to manage time and priorities across multiple projects Identify and secure specification opportunities across new and ongoing construction and refurbishment projects Provide expert product knowledge and technical support to consulting engineers, specifiers, and project managers Deliver tailored product presentations, technical training, and CPD sessions to stakeholders Stay informed on market trends, regulations, and standards affecting electrical systems (e.g., SANS, IEC, local compliance codes Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to align customer needs with product offerings Develop and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers in the project specification process Maintain a database of specified projects and provide regular reporting on activity and outcomes Consultant: Charlene Nel – Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes
