Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Reporting to board of directors and managing director. Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the front office, including reception, concierge, guest services, and reservations. Ensure high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction. Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all front office functions. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance front office operations and guest experiences. Collaborate with the executive team to align front office strategies with overall hotel goals. Identify industry trends and incorporate them into strategic planning. Financial Management: Prepare and manage the front office department budget, including forecasting and financial analysis. Monitor financial performance, implement cost control measures, and optimize revenue generation. Analyse financial reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop the front office team to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities. Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the front office team and with other departments. Guest Experience: Maintain a strong presence in the front office, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback. Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Develop and implement initiatives to enhance the overall guest experience. Technology and Systems Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of front office systems and technology. Ensure efficient use of property management systems (PMS) and other relevant software. Stay updated with technological advancements and recommend upgrades as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment. Proven track record of successful front office management, including operational, strategic, and financial aspects. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. In-depth knowledge of front office operations, standards, and regulations. Proficiency in financial analysis and budget management. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
