About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is on the lookout for a dedicated QA Analyst to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. The successful candidate will focus on enhancing the quality of software applications through effective testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is built into the software from the design phase
- Document and track defects using appropriate tools.
- Participate in the review of requirements and design documentation.
- Provide insights on quality trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the preparation of test data and environments as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and testing techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is an advantage.
