About the Role

We are seeking a Reporting Manager to bring order, credibility, and calm to performance reporting and SLA governance in a well-established organisation in the financial services environment. The successful candidate will own reporting governance, SLA performance, and the integrity of data used to inform executive and client decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and enforce reporting standards across operational, client, and executive reporting.
  • Ensure that all reports are audit-ready, with clear evidence, documentation, and sign-off controls.
  • Maintain a single, controlled source of truth for performance and SLA metrics.
  • Own the reporting calendar and ensure the timely delivery of all recurring and ad hoc reports.
  • Govern the end-to-end SLA Management Framework, including KPI definitions and calculations.
  • Implement early-warning indicators to proactively identify SLA risks and trends.
  • Provide accurate, consistent SLA reporting to senior stakeholders and clients.
  • Analyse SLA breaches, perform root-cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
  • Present clear, credible performance insights to senior leaders and governance forums.
  • Build strong working relationships with Operations, BI, Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Workforce teams.
  • Translate operational activity into meaningful performance insights.
  • Lead and develop a team of Reporting and SLA Analysts.
  • Set clear expectations, promote accountability, and build analytical capability.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, coaching, and performance management.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, improved reporting processes, and better insights.
  • Review and refine SLA metrics and reporting frameworks as the business evolves.
  • Contribute to broader data and reporting maturity initiatives.

Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Analytics, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, or similar. Postgraduate qualification in a quantitative discipline (advantageous). Minimum 7 years experience in operations, finance, analytics, or reporting (financial services preferred). At least 2 years in a leadership role.
