Job Description
Brief Role Description: To carry out timeous and quality planned, preventative and emergency maintenance on specified Air-conditioning and Water Reticulation units to give effect to the business maintenance strategy and Client service standards
Key Performance Areas (KPAs)
1.Implement equipment service specifications in accordance with Client and Company requirements
2.Install & commission air-conditioning and water reticulation equipment in accordance with specification
3.Conduct maintenance on air-conditioning & water reticulation equipment as per schedule, preventative or emergency fault rectification
4.Perform inspection of facility, air-conditioning equipment on site, identify areas of risk and report back for rectification
5.Ensure that preventative or emergency fault rectification complies with the relevant legislation, SLA and job plans
6.Ensure quality of work and timeous completion of all field request
7.Provide constant feedback to the Supervisor & Client on restoration of operations
Person Specification
Tertiary Education: N3 – N6 in Mechanical Engineering
Professional Registration/Trade: Trade-Test in HVAC (Air-conditioning & Refrigeration), Additional Trade-Test in Electrical advantageous
Secondary Education: Matric (Senior Certificate)
Licenses: Valid SA Drivers License
Experience: 5 8 yrs relevant experience in air-conditioning equipment maintenance field & digital control systems, min 3yrs experience in Trade
Technical/Core Training: Maintenance of air-conditioning equipment & water reticulation systems
IT Training (General MS etc.) MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level), SAP Knowledge
Statutory Requirements: Knowledge of OHS Act
