About the Role
Africonology is seeking an experienced Solutions Analyst with Salesforce expertise to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing Salesforce solutions that support our banking operations, compliance, customer onboarding, servicing, and digital transformation. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze financial services business requirements and ensure that Salesforce configurations and enhancements align with banking regulations, risk policies, and customer-centric processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse financial services business requirements
- Design Salesforce solutions to support banking operations and regulatory compliance
- Engage with stakeholders across Retail Banking, Business Banking, Risk, Compliance, and Customer Servicing teams
- Translate financial services requirements into Salesforce workflows, automations, and data structures
Requirements
- 6-8 years of experience as a Solutions Analyst in the Financial Services sector
- Hands-on Salesforce experience (Admin, Support, Enhancements, or Implementations)
- Experience gathering requirements for regulated environments
- Knowledge of Financial Services Cloud (advantageous)
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or related field

- Understanding of Salesforce data model, APIs, and security model
- Knowledge of Financial Services Cloud
- Experience with integrations into banking or financial systems (API, ESB, middleware)
Financial Services Industry Knowledge
- Customer onboarding and KYC workflows
- AML and risk controls
- Lending processes (applications, approvals, documentation)
- Data protection regulations (POPIA)
