Our client is a forward-thinking logistics and distribution partner known for reliability and excellence in delivering tailored solutions. As their Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and insightful reporting that supports critical decision-making. You will be working closely with senior management to strengthen financial processes and drive strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly management accounts.
• Ensure timely reconciliations of general ledger, creditors, and debtors.
• Manage cash flow and banking transactions effectively.
• Assist with audit preparation and statutory compliance.
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to management.
• Contribute to process improvements and system efficiencies.

 Job Experience & Skills Required:

• A completed BCom Accounting degree (or equivalent).
• At least 3–5 years’ experience in accounting or finance, ideally within logistics, transport, supply chain, or a related sector.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Proficiency in accounting software packages and advanced Excel.
• Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and passionate about numbers.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet strict deadlines.
