Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Perform inventory and cost-related reconciliations
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Process journals, accruals, provisions, and prepayments
• Ensure general ledger accuracy and balance sheet integrity
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis
• Support month-end and year-end close
• Assist with audit preparation and statutory compliance
• Maintain compliance with IFRS, tax, and internal controls

Job Experience and Skills Required

Education:

• National Diploma or BCom in Accounting or equivalent

Experience:

• 3–5 years’ accounting experience
• Proven experience in a manufacturing / production / industrial environment
• Exposure to inventory, costing, and operational finance
• Experience working with ERP or accounting systems

Skills:

• Strong Excel skills
• Solid understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations
• Experience with accounting systems (Syspro / SAP / Sage or similar advantageous)
