About the Role
As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a critical role in managing stock levels to achieve business objectives. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Shipping teams to determine allocation priorities and drive supply planning meetings. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in evaluating forecast vs. sales figures monthly and adjusting stock planning and ordering accordingly.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock levels in line with sales achieved to achieve a companywide 2.5-month stock holding
- Maintain a minimum customer in-fill rate of 95%
- Proactively report stock shortages to Sales and Marketing team
- Report on any stock delays to the Operations and Planning teams
- Perform various forecast analysis as needed
- Facilitate and drive weekly supply planning meetings
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Shipping to determine allocation priorities in support of business objectives
- Apply business intelligence to improve forecasting tools and processes
- Formulate strategies for direct deliveries and ensure consolidation of containers on best business cost savings
- Regularly inform and update other departments of significant changes or problems relating to demand and return patterns
- Ensure stock budget per category is in-line with orders placed
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in planning or a related field
- Solid analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Extremely well organised, self-disciplined, and deadline driven
- Self-motivated
- Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organisation
- Willingness to work in a team environment
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and Word
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, Logistics, Planning, Finance or Business is preferred but not required.
