Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency in the Mining industry, is currently seeking an experienced Underground Surveyor to join their client’s team in Gauteng. As an Underground Surveyor, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and reliable spatial data for underground mining operations.

Responsibilities:

• Perform underground surveys to determine precise measurements of tunnels, stopes, and other underground mining areas.
• Utilize surveying equipment such as total stations, levels, and GPS to collect data.
• Create and maintain accurate mine maps and plans.
• Collaborate with mining engineers and geologists to ensure survey data is aligned with mine design and geological models.
• Assist in the development and implementation of mine plans and designs.
• Conduct periodic surveys to monitor and assess ground stability.
• Provide support for ventilation and geotechnical monitoring systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Elementary Survey Certificate – Chamber of Mines
• National Diploma in Mine Surveying 
• 3+ years of experience as an underground Mine Surveyor 
• Trackless mining and vids processing 
• Proficient in using surveying equipment and software.
• Good understanding of mine design and geological concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.
