About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Controller to join our team in Johannesburg. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the distribution warehouse, including procurement, receiving, processing, dispatching, and delivery of stock. You will also be responsible for managing cost elements of the logistics functions within the budget for the financial year. Your keen eye for detail and experienced skill set will be crucial in executing vital day-to-day operations and accurately reporting information to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily warehouse operations jhb
  • Re-ordering of packaging and marketing requirements
  • Department manager
  • Stock takes, monthly and weekly stock counts
  • Checking, Receiving and despatching of incoming and outgoing stock
  • Customer returns, queries etc
  • Buyer for electrical and machine technician
  • Running and analysing import schedule reports
  • Forecasting and demand management
  • Inventory management and logistics
  • Transportation, in charge of vehicle management, logistics
  • Procurement management and packaging
  • Palladium proficiency beneficial
  • Must have a supply chain diploma or similar
  • Must be technical, disciplined and committed

Requirements

  • Age bracket 25 – 35
  • Previous experience having worked in a stock control or receiving related role is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication are essential
  • Must be computer literate
  • Able to work independently and punctual
  • Well-groomed and presentable
  • Stable work history
  • Must be able to work under pressure
  • Must have strong mathematical skills
  • Must be technical with regard to tools and machinery

Qualifications

  • Must have a supply chain degree, diploma or similar
  • Diploma will be an advantage
  • Matric is required
  • Must have advanced Excel skills
  • Previous experience having worked in a stock control or receiving related role is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication are essential
