About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Johannesburg warehouse team, overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising warehouse staff, with industry experience in Electrical preferred but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including logistics, stock control, order picking, and shipments
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and manage stock movements
- Ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
- Implement efficient warehouse processes and identify areas for improvement
- Enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Prepare and submit reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years supervising warehouse staff and activities
- Industry experience (Electrical) preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to work with at least 100 line items
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Effective team leadership and management abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
