We are looking for a reliable and skilled Electrician – Conveyor Systems to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical components within our conveyor and material-handling operations. You will ensure that conveyor systems run safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.
? Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on conveyor equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults including sensors, motors, VFDs, control panels, and wiring.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and condition checks on conveyor lines.
• Support commissioning and testing of new conveyor installations and upgrades.
• Assist in the setup and calibration of sensors, limit switches, and safety devices.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety procedures, and company standards.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns to minimize downtime and support production continuity.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and repair records.

? Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification / Red Seal / Diploma / NVQ (or equivalent).
• Experience working with conveyor or material-handling systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of motors, motor starters, VFDs, relays, and basic control circuits.
• Ability to diagnose electrical issues using testing tools (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.).
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout and industrial safety practices.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team or independently.
