Kathu: Site Construction Supervisor (Electrical & Instrumentation)

Duties & Responsibilities Provide full-time on-site Electrical and Instrumentation construction supervision for EPCM projects Supervise all Electrical and Instrumentation construction and installation activities executed on site Verify that all installations are completed in accordance with approved designs, standards, and specifications Facilitate quality control and quality assurance throughout the full project life cycle, including manufacturing, construction, testing, and commissioning Conduct punching of Electrical and Instrumentation installations Ensure all IFC drawings are correctly red-lined and updated Coordinate access and sequencing of Electrical and Instrumentation trades in line with the project schedule Ensure compliance with client standards, installation specifications, and construction requirements Apply and enforce client testing and commissioning procedures across all projects Support safe working practices and adherence to site safety requirements Qualifications National Diploma or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering Strong industrial experience within a mining environment, both surface and underground Proven experience supervising Electrical and Instrumentation construction activities Construction management experience on large-scale industrial projects Experience managing projects with a value exceeding R5 million Knowledge of risk assessments and construction task analysis processes Understanding of mining health and safety legislation Medical fitness for duty in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act
