Job Description

Responsibilities:

Accurately diagnose vehicle concerns and recommend effective, practical solutions
Perform maintenance and repair work to a high standard and within reasonable time frames
Carry out advanced removals, replacements, and diagnostic procedures as per daily work orders
Assist managers with workshop operations, including pricing of work orders, requisitioning parts, organizing the workshop, and mentoring junior staff
Adhere to all manufacturer specifications, procedures, and quality standards
Follow and enforce all health and safety regulations when operating tools, machinery, and equipment
Support other service department roles as needed, depending on operational demands
Carry out any additional duties that contribute to customer satisfaction or are assigned by management
Always deliver outstanding customer service

Requirements / Qualifications:

RED SEAL Certification – Trade Tested and Certified Technician
SOLID experience working on Premium Brand Passenger Vehicles as a Qualified Technician in a dealership / automotive environment. Will look at newly qualified candidates as long as they are working for a premium brand
Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and servicing
Proficient with diagnostic tools, software, and technical equipment
Excellent mechanical aptitude and a strong commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid South African Driver’s License
Automotive Dealership experience is ESSENTIAL
