About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager to lead our growth and development of the Gauteng Branch, focusing on new business and retention. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting, growing, and developing a high-performance staff team.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, grow, and develop a high-performance staff team
• Grow the Gauteng Branch by achieving new business and retention growth targets
• Manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet target growth

Requirements

• Matric or equivalent qualification (advantageous)
• 10 years’ experience in Freight Forwarding
• 7 years of Client Facing Experience in either new business, trade lane, or client retention
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Valid, unendorsed Code 08 driver’s license
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally when required

Qualifications

• Sales / Marketing / Supply Chain or Logistics Management Qualification (Advantageous)
• CargoWise One certification
