Introduction:
Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Practitioner to join our mining operations in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying training needs, developing training programs, and implementing learning initiatives to support the ongoing development of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
– Conducting training needs assessments to identify gaps in employee knowledge and skills
– Developing training programs and materials tailored to the specific needs of the mining industry
– Facilitating training sessions, workshops, and learning activities for employees at all levels
– Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making adjustments as needed
– Collaborating with department heads and supervisors to ensure training initiatives align with business objectives
– Implementing strategies to promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization
– Managing training budgets, resources, and vendor relationships
– Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in training and development

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field
– Certification in Training and Development (e.g. CPTD, CTP, CPLP) preferred
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably in the mining industry
– Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
– Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
– Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of employees at all levels
– Proficiency in MS Office and learning management systems
