Job Summary
Our Client in the Solar & Electrical Industry is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow their market share in the Garden Route Area, covering Plett, Knysna, George and Oudtshoorn and surrounding areas, in the commercial and industrial sectors
Purpose of position:
Head up business development in the Garden Route area in the commercial and industrial sectors only. This excludes residential / home installations. Build brand awareness and promote the Companys offerings into the Garden Route Market.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Requirements:
- This position will suit someone who has a large network in property management / commercial sales and know a lot of landlords.
- Any electrical / solar experience is beneficial.
- Strong computer skills across all software, especially the office suite

- Valid Drivers license and own vehicle is essential.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, resourceful and energetic
- Hands on and willing to work at all levels
- Ability to operate independently
- Must have great networking skills
- Meticulous and thorough with a key eye for detail
- Strong work ethic, ability to handle multiple tasks at a time and meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to grasp technical concepts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interested in the energy sector and green technologies
- Strong data capturing skills
- Strong communication skills
Other relevant information:
- Great potential to grow within the company and will be incentivized accordingly.
