About the Role
As a Vehicle Sales Executive at our dealership in Knysna, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through prospecting, networking, and referrals. You will engage with walk-in customers, convert leads into sales, and provide exceptional customer experiences to build strong relationships and achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new vehicle sales through prospecting, networking, and referrals
- Engage with walk-in customers and convert leads into sales
- Conduct vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable vehicle solutions
- Structure deals, including pricing, trade-ins, and finance options
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business
- Stay updated on product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends
- Ensure compliance with dealership processes and OEM standards
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Valid driver’s license (essential)
- Proven experience in vehicle sales (new or used vehicles preferred)
- Strong sales track record with target-driven performance
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work weekends and extended hours
- Sales and closing ability
- Negotiation and persuasion
