Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Field Guide:
- Lead wildlife tours and provide educational experiences for guests.
- Ensure guest safety while sharing knowledge of the local ecosystem.
- Maintain guiding equipment and vehicles.
- Collaborate with lodge staff to curate enriching guest itineraries.
Lodge Manager:
- Oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring exceptional guest service.
- Manage lodge staff and coordinate daily activities.
- Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and feedback professionally.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Requirements:
Field Guide:
- Minimum FGASA Level 1 guiding certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- First Aid certification is advantageous.
Lodge Manager:
- Previous experience within a lodge management role at a 4/5 star game lodge
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proficient in managing budgets and guest relations.
- Ability to work flexible hours and multitask effectively.
