About the Role

We are seeking experienced organic farm workers to join our diversified organic farm in Krugersdorp, producing pomegranates and other organic crops. As an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Scout for pests and diseases and correctly identify common agricultural pests
• Apply practical knowledge of organic pest control methods, including organic pesticides, fungal sprays, and organic fertilizers
• Manage cold storage facilities
• Sort and grade fruit, including pomegranates
• Participate in post-harvest handling processes, including pomegranate deseeding
• Contribute to the cultivation of various crops, including avocado, Cape gooseberry, granadilla, and lemons

Requirements

• Must be a South African citizen
• 3–5 years’ proven experience working on an organic pomegranate farm
• Ability to work independently and as part of a farm team
