About the Role
As Operations Manager at Architectural Glass & Aluminium, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations across our sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for leading installation teams, workshop staff, and subcontractors to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across sites, and logistics
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Supervise and lead installation teams, workshop staff, and subcontractors
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, technical plans, and specifications
- Implement and optimize operational systems and workflows
- Ensure strict quality control standards are maintained
- Enforce health, safety, and regulatory compliance on all sites
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and make fast, effective decisions
- Report directly to management on performance, timelines, and operational targets
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational management (construction, glass & aluminium preferred)
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Proven ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
- Solid understanding of production planning and site coordination
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interdepartmental coordination skills
- Hands-on approach with willingness to be involved on-site when required
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
