About the Role

The Building Company is seeking a skilled Estimator to join their team in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for compiling lists of building materials, supply and fit items, plant and equipment, and labour costs – off plan. You will work closely with customers and builders to achieve monthly sales budgets, while maintaining a neat and tidy estimating area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive building plans from customers or builders
  • List building material requirements
  • Liaise with customers and builders to attain monthly sales budgets
  • Make structured calls to existing customers
  • Measure quantities from plans manually
  • Cost building materials

Requirements

  • Grade 12 National Diploma in Quantity Surveying
  • 2 years of relevant experience
  • Relevant product/system knowledge

Qualifications

  • Matric (if applicable)
