Job Description

Minimum requirements for the role: Minimum matric is essential for the role. Previous experience having worked as an internal sales or customer services administrator being involved in the processing of orders, liaising with clients regarding products that would be ordering as well as ensuring their products are delivered timeously. Previous experience having worked within the coatings or chemical or a related industry is preferred however experience having worked in any industry will be accepted for the role. The successful candidate must be computer literate and ideally have experience working on an ERP System. The successful candidate must have good communication skills and be proactive and self-motivated. Must be methodological and have accurate work ethic. Previous experience having assisted the sales team liaising with the warehouse and distribution team regarding the availability of stock is essential for the role. Previous experience having assisted the sales team to procure raw materials internationally is preferred but not essential. Training is provided if the person does not have any experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Processing customer orders on an ERP system, coordinating sales administration, providing customer service, and supporting the external sales team. This role is to ensure smooth communication between customers, production, logistics, and sales to meet business and client objectives efficiently. Liaising with customers regarding raw material chemical products they have ordered and making sure that customers are kept up to date on delivery. Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues and queries are dealt with timeously. Assisting the Sales team with sales forecasts to ensure that product stock levels to meet customers needs as well as quotations and pricing. Assisting with the procurement of chemical raw materials from International Suppliers ensuring that the raw materials are procured and delivered timeously. Liaising with transport companies and shipping companies to ensure that export orders placed internationally are shipped to SA on time. Salary package, including benefits, is highly negotiable depending on experience gained.
