✨ LODGE MANAGER | LUXURY 5-STAR SAFARI LODGE | KWA-ZULU NATAL ✨ Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 DOE | Live-In Kendrick Recruitment is searching for a confident and experienced Lodge Manager to take the reins of an intimate, luxury 5-star safari lodge in KwaZulu-Natal. This exclusive property accommodates just 10 guests and is supported by a dedicated team of 22 staff, offering a rare opportunity to manage a high-end lodge where attention to detail, personalised service and leadership truly matter. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a passion for luxury hospitality, capable of running all lodge operations smoothly while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a pristine bush setting. Key Responsibilities * Oversee all aspects of daily lodge operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food & beverage and maintenance * Lead, motivate and develop the lodge team to ensure consistent 5-star service delivery * Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards at all times * Manage budgets, cost control and financial reporting * Maintain outstanding guest satisfaction and handle feedback or complaints with professionalism * Coordinate staff schedules, rosters and training programmes * Foster a positive, collaborative workplace culture * Liaise with suppliers, contractors and external stakeholders * Monitor and maintain lodge facilities, equipment and vehicles Requirements * Senior management experience within a 5-star lodge or luxury hospitality environment * Previous experience managing a small luxury lodge or boutique 5-star property is highly advantageous * Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills * Sound financial acumen with experience managing budgets and operational costs * Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems efficiently * Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with high-profile guests * Immaculately presented and professional at all times * Flexible and adaptable to shifts, weekends and public holidays Package & Benefits * Negotiable salary based on experience * Small stand-alone one-bedroom manager’s house included * Opportunity to manage an exclusive, low-volume 5-star camp with a close-knit, high-performing team Ready to lead a luxury lodge in one of South Africa’s most beautiful regions?
