About the Role

Campbell Attorneys in Durban is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join their team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Full function bookkeeping up to trial balance
• Preparation of monthly management accounts and reports
• Bank, trust, and business account reconciliations
• Processing invoices, payments, and journal entries
• VAT calculations and submissions
• Assisting with payroll processing
• Liaising with auditors when required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience
• Pastel Accounting experience is essential
• Ability to prepare monthly management accounts
• Payroll processing experience will be a strong advantage
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem solving and time management skills
• Must be fluent in English
