Job Description
- High School Diploma – Grade 12 is mandatory
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Shift Supervisor or in a similar supervisory capacity
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Excel, Power Point and Word
- Exceptional organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage Production, Safety, Teams and Process
- A self-motivated and result-driven approach to achieve production targets and objectives
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address challenges proactively
Responsibilities:
- Report to Plant Manager and Safety Officer
- Carry 2.9.3 legal appointment in accordance with the MHSA
- Manage production, stockpile movements, shift supervisors and operators
- Drive Safety
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Check production output according to specifications
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
- Train new employees on how to safely operate the plant and use of relevant equipment as well as to follow procedures
- Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards
- Manage SHEQ compliance
