Our mine, situated in the Limpopo Province about 60 kilometers from Lydenburg and 40 kilometers from Burgersfort, and is a world-class producer of Chrome Ore. The successful applicant will report to the Supervisor Machines or nominee. MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Grade 10 / Standard 8 Certificate. Code B (08) Drivers Licence. EXPERIENCE (including but not limited to): 2 years practical experience as a Competent Operator on relevant equipment. DUTIES (including but not limited to): Safely operate the required mining equipment (heavy duty) in designated areas toward supporting production or mining activities, in accordance with set operating standards. Conduct vehicle pre-use inspections. Operate HV. Observe component performance. Identify sub performance. Report deviations and defects. Perform daily Mini Risk Assessment. Render support with ad hoc tasks using the forklift and boom attachments. Adhere to safety procedures and practices. Park HV in allocated area. Follow lock-out procedure on the HV. Submit keys to Security. Selection will take place according to the Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine Recruitment Operating Procedure. The successful candidate will be appointed on the Dwarsrivier Chrome Mine Conditions of Employment, which includes being certified medically fit as per the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996.
