Job Description
Our client is seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Structural Engineer/Technologist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, design, monitoring, and reporting on infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, compliance, and client satisfaction throughout project execution.
Qualifications:
- BEng, BSc, or B-Tech degree in Civil Engineering (Structural).
- Professionally registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Technologist.
Requirements & Skills:
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Structural Engineering, including at least 5 years post-registration.
- Strong knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Experience in project management, report writing, and client advisory.
- Creative, enthusiastic, customer-focused, and committed to project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend client project briefs and assist in preparing project specifications.
- Prepare feasibility studies, technical reports, designs, and drawings.
- Liaise with clients to ensure project requirements and satisfaction are met.
- Arrange and participate in project meetings, preparing minutes and progress reports.
- Monitor and advise contractors and Resident Engineers on site.
