About the Role

The Site Manager (PPC Slurry) role at Bidvest Protea Coin requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the day-to-day operations of our PPC Slurry facility in Mahikeng. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, strong communication abilities, and a proven track record of managing complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Security advice to clients
  • Quality Assurance Audit
  • Threat and Risk assessments.
  • Experienced client liaison and professional client relationship
  • Project Management
  • Effectively dealing with and managing client complaints.
  • Ensure that contractual requirements are met all the time
  • Maintaining the ISO 9001 quality system
  • Ensuring that all companies/Clients SOPs are followed
  • Incident and investigations Management.
  • Ensure compliance to the Company’s disciplinary code.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) qualification
  • PSIRA certification – Grade A
  • Relevant experience in a managerial or similar position for at least 5 years
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques of risk management, business impact analysis and counter measures
  • Knowledge of tools and systems which provide access security control
  • Must have confidence in dealing with public
  • First aid and firefighting will be advantageous
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual (English and any other South African language)
  • Computer literate and knowledge of MS office
  • The ability to communicate and present to all levels and work under pressure
  • Must be willing to undergo polygraph test.
  • Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record.
