About the Role

The Mbombela: Quality and Compliance Manager role is a critical position at Dante Group Ltd, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our vegetable production operations. The successful candidate will be part of our team that produces high-quality vegetables, with a strong focus on food safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with FSSC 22000 and HACCP standards
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for vegetable production
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and address any quality issues or non-compliance
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and audits
• Provide training and guidance to staff on quality and compliance procedures

Requirements

• BSc in Plant/Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, or related field
• 3 years’ proven experience as a Quality Control Inspector or Food Technologist
• Solid understanding and practical experience with FSSC 22000 and HACCP
• Previous experience with vegetables/citrus will be a strong advantage

Qualifications

• Formal education in Plant/Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Botany, Biotechnology, or related field
