About the Role
The Mbombela: Store Leader role at Cape Union Mart International Ltd is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned retail professional to lead our store and drive sales growth, while ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for achieving business objectives, managing finances, and developing high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve annual sales budget through meeting and exceeding daily and monthly budgets
- Manage and control financial aspects of running the store to ensure profitability
- Adhere to merchandising standards in line with brand requirements
- Ensure proper stock management and control to minimize loss and maintain product availability
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure best customer experience
- Build excellent relationships with all relevant service providers (internal and external)
- Manage human resources effectively by recruiting, planning, and administering payroll properly
- Inspire, motivate, develop, and hold team members accountable appropriately
- Align team members to Company culture and create a fun work environment
- Implement all company policies and procedures
- Maintain health & safety practices
Requirements
- Microsoft Computer Proficiency
- Clear Criminal record
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience in working in a large retail store with a turnover of more than R 20 million per annum
