About the Role
A laboratory quality assurance (QA) clerk is responsible for supporting quality control processes by performing administrative and technical tasks in a mining laboratory setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with laboratory SOP’s and regulatory standards, as well as maintaining documentation and equipment records.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare internal quality control (IQC) materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Run routine IQC samples and external quality assurance (EQA) samples as per SOP’s.
- Log daily information, such as room temperature and fridge temperatures.
- Identify IQC issues and report deviations to a supervisor.
Requirements
- Able to speak Afrikaans.
- SANAS experience (Laboratory).
- Experience with relevant paperwork, quality control, and general administrative tasks.
- Be able to work every second weekend.
Qualifications
- Completed SANAS Laboratory qualification or equivalent.
