• Develop project scope for mechanical engineering activities
• Plan and schedule engineering tasks aligned with project timelines
• Collect and analyze relevant technical and field data
• Identify, assess, and mitigate mechanical hazards and risks
• Evaluate designs and solutions against applicable international codes and regulations
• Provide training and guidance to junior engineers and team members
• Monitor engineering progress, quality, and compliance during execution
• Support construction and commissioning activities with engineering expertise
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Prepare and submit technical reports, risk assessments, and project documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Minimum 15 years of project engineering experience
• At least 5 years focused on capital projects in mining, petrochemical, construction, heavy industries, or advanced technology

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, economic considerations, and design methods
• Familiarity with international codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASME, API)
• Proven experience in project risk management and project execution
• Practical understanding of health, safety, and environmental fundamentals
• Proficiency in project control tools such as Primavera, MS Project, and MS Office
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking abilities
• Demonstrated leadership skills, particularly in multicultural environments
