About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Midrand. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for proactively identifying and acquiring new customers, building strong relationships with existing accounts, and driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, research, and target new customers
- Conduct cold calling, outbound outreach, and lead qualification
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Follow up on marketing campaigns and inbound leads
- Manage a portfolio of existing accounts, building strong relationships to ensure high retention
- Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the full portfolio
- Collaborate with pre-sales teams to create compelling, customer-specific cloud solution proposals and presentations
Requirements
- Matric plus Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing or related field
- Proven track record in solution sales and new customer acquisition
- Strong technical understanding of IT systems, hosting, colocation, and ISP environments
- Experience crafting high-quality proposals and delivering customer presentations
- Excellent relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and accurate data management
Qualifications
