Job Summary
Essential Skills
Requirements:
– Analytical Expertise: Highly skilled in cloud database engineering. – Migration Experience: Critical role in migrating on-prem workloads to OCI, Azure, and AWS platforms. – Design & Implementation: Ability to design and implement cloud-based database solutions. – Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues. Qualifications/Experience Needed: – Oracle Database Expertise: Experience with Oracle database architecture, automation, and performance tuning. – Cloud Architecture Knowledge: Expert knowledge of cloud architectures, especially databases. – OCI Experience: Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, autonomous database on shared and dedicated infrastructure, and provisioning/supporting OCI resources. – PostgreSQL Knowledge: Optional but beneficial in a cloud environment. – ITIL Knowledge: ITIL process knowledge and work experience. – Experience: At least 5 years of practical experience in Oracle database administration or development. – Language: Fluent business English. Advantageous Skills

– Design & Implement Solutions: Create cloud-based database solutions tailored to business needs. – Develop Migration Plans: Develop and maintain comprehensive database migration plans. – Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to identify and resolve database-related issues. – Security & Compliance: Ensure database systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards. – Documentation: Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all database systems and processes. -Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in database engineering and cloud computing.
