Job Description
Our client, a leader in the Glass manufacturing and distribution sector, is looking for an Operations Manager to take ownership of all warehouse and logistics functions across a fast-paced operation.
As the Operations Manager, youll ensure efficient supply chain performance, develop high-performing teams, and drive operational improvements that align with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and dispatch
-
Develop and implement strategies to optimise workflow, reduce costs, and improve turnaround times
-
Lead and motivate warehouse and logistics teams to meet KPIs and service standards
-
Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and relevant legislation
-
Monitor fleet utilisation and coordinate distribution planning
-
Analyse operational data and generate reports for senior management
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, sales, and procurement
Requirements:
-
A minimum of 5 years experience in Operations Management within a warehouse and logistics environment, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent understanding of supply chain processes, inventory control, and distribution planning

Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Excel
-
A relevant tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain, or operations management is preferred

Ability to work under pressure and solve problems in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication, analytical, and organisational skills
