About the Role
A leading manufacturing company is seeking a skilled and people-focused Plant Manager to lead operations at one of their key production facilities. This role is ideal for an experienced leader with a solid foundation in production, logistics, and labour management, who thrives in dynamic, high-performance environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring production, logistics, and quality targets are consistently achieved.
- Lead and manage a large, diverse workforce with a focus on motivation, performance, and accountability.
- Drive compliance with EE, OSH, SHE, and BCE legislation, maintaining a strong culture of safety and operational excellence.
- Manage recruitment processes and resolve Industrial Relations (IR) matters effectively and fairly.
- Contribute to strategic planning and budgeting with a strong grasp of financial controls and production cost management.
- Ensure efficient coordination between departments to optimize workflow and operational output.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years working experience in a management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of EE, OSH, SHE, and BCE legislation is essential.
- In-depth understanding of financial, logistics, and production operations.
- Experience in recruitment and handling IR matters.
- Proven ability to lead and engage large teams effectively.
