Responsibilities
- Conducting site investigations and assessments to gather data and determine project feasibility
- Preparing detailed engineering designs, calculations, and specifications
- Managing and overseeing the construction process, ensuring compliance with design plans and specifications
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Performing quality control checks and reviews to ensure accuracy and adherence to applicable codes and standards
- Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff
- Participating in business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 – 10 years experience as a Resident Engineer
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or other relevant software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects
